This is a brief instructional video on how to use Turbo-Tax to Report Capital Gains Deferrals via Opportunity Zones and specifically Opportunity Zone Funds. This is done via the manual capital gains entry screen in Turbo-Tax.

If you deferred gain from the sale of stock by investing in a Qualified Opportunity Fund (QOF) you’ll need to specially report the deferral on your Form 1040 tax return.
