I’m excited to say my business school application process is over. I applied to several schools (including UPenn (Wharton), MIT (Sloan) and Northwestern (Kellogg) and recently heard back from them all. Here are my reactions to the different business school’s decisions.

Today is the day we are going to taste our first Bubble Tea and it just happens to be in Kuala Lumpur. We are at the Tealive Bubble Tea (Boba Tea) chain located in the basement of the Pavilion Shopping Mall in Kuala Lumpur´s Bukit Bintang Shopping area. The fraud triangle consists of 3 factors that are generally present when a fraud occurs: (1) incentive, (2) opportunity, and (3) rationalization. Incentive is a financial need that a person perceives to be unshareable (the person has a gambling debt and is ashamed to ask anyone for money to cover the debt). Opportunity occurs when internal controls are weak or nonexistent (cash has been left laying around). Rationalization is the attitude that it is okay for the person to commit the fraud (the company doesn’t pay me enough money so I deserve this, I’m really just borrowing the money and intend to pay it back, etc.). When a person has incentive, opportunity, and rationalization, there is a high likelihood the person will commit fraud.

When it comes to business degrees a lot of your success is going to be outside of the degree that you choose
Networking, skills, internships, work experience, the university or college that you attend, what industry you go into etc are important with all degrees, but they’re especially important when it comes to business careers
So this video was really tough to make because there are so many external factors outside of just the numbers
Business is also changing quickly and degrees that were amazing 20 years ago might not be nearly as good now
But I spent a lot of time researching for this video and I found a few things that I think are really important
There are a few things that pop up over and over again that will definitely help you to make the best choice when it comes to choosing your college degree
Business degrees as a whole tend to be a little risky and are very boom or bust
You could end up working a boring office job or you could end up as the vice president of a fortune 500 company
Overall, the numbers show that business degrees tend to do pretty well though and they’re generally a good choice
Some of them are better than others though, especially considering that we are moving into the age of automation
As always, this is just my opinion, so make sure to do your own research.
